How long had he been in the darkness silently waiting, hoping, for some foolish being to come across what was left of his remains? The years had blurred together so much he had long forgotten how to tell the passage of time. Time wasn't real, only death, the darkness, the Force, were real. All else could be doubted or explained away as mere sensory input. He had long ago learned to distrust the senses.
