It wasn't often Isaku got away from home outside of the usual errands. Pick up food and pay the bills, the necessitites. Seeing as he ran the house and kept things in sorts for him to have time outside was... rare, to say the least.
Rare was here though and the ginger walked the streets until he noticed a rather.... lively shop. Deciding he had nothing to lose Isaku stepped inside the be met with a wall, almost physical, of noise. Was this a toy store or a rock concert?
He stepped to the side, trying to merge with the wall, apparently as small human worm babies ran about screaming and laughing. He liked kids but this many crammed into this small a space was too much. He scooted around them, stubborness keeping him from being run out by a hoard of sticky fingered, screaming children.
That's when the drakel landed on his head. He wasn't too, too concerned having already sensed the life force and determined it was no threat. He was surprised that it had landed on him.
The thing yelled angrily at another such drakel and he waved a hand towards it, expression never changing.
"Shoo..."
He was saved by a man who seemed rather... messy in appearance who, apparently ran the store. Why wasn't he wearing a shirt? Well anyway it was really none of Isaku's business what the store owner wore.
No he was a customer and really a shirtless man was far from being offensive. It's not like the young man wasn't good looking or anything, nor was he unkept or dirty (minus the paint, anyway).
Looking around his attention turned to a shelf containing bird... doll... things. He picked on up, investigating the tag. Turkezilla, huh? They were... cute.
There appeared to be only two left so he picked both up and continued on, snatching up the two latest addition of cuniflare bunnies. Moofius called them "brain rabbits" though her reasoning was still lost on him. She was sure to appreciate them, though. Heh.
The colours of the emowockee doll caught his attention and he grabbed one, also taking a palowockee doll, thinking of Nandi. She would surely appreciate the detail and have it ripped up and grass stained quickly enough. She really didn't have much in the way of toys, now that he thought of it.
Looking around he noticed a rag-tag barrel of cats and plucked out a tabby and calico. There, that should suffice.
He felt rather silly as he looked at the bundle of toys in his arms (especially considering the emowockee was for himself) but that same stoic look remained on his face as he set them down on the counter.
"All of this, please. And could they go in a paper bag? or a large box?"
Plastic bags were pretty transparent. Just because his embarassment wasn't showing outwardly didn't mean he wasn't feeling it.
