Eggs

When Drakens are developing in their eggs they pick up emotions and vibes from their environment. These 'vibes' help shape them and affect details such as their colour, nature and all-round personality. When they have finished developing Drakens are reluctant to leave their eggs and so must be bribed out with some sort of treasure

Once Hatched

Drakens by nature are generally unforgiving creatures and once you have crossed them they will only respond to you through a bribe of some sorts. They remain loyal only to the one who first gave them treasure at birth and they do so reluctantly. Of course there are a few exceptions and every Draken is different depending on the way they were treated in the egg. One thing that every Draken definately shares is a love of treasure and they adore collecting and trading it. The only thing they value higher than treasure is their own lives and the life of those they are bound to through loyalty

Animal they are most like: A Cat-Fussy, Fickle and Untrustworthy

How to Get a Draken

There are two methods you can use to get a Draken...

Method One

This is the most accurate method of getting the Draken that suits you. You take the code of a 'Plain' Egg below and place it in your thread or wherever you want to put it. Then you need to PM me with a short paragraph describing the conditions, mood etc of the egg's surrounding (It can be laid out either like a story or a list) I will reply sending you the code of an Adult Draken that's colour most suits your environment

OR

Method Two

If you'd rather choose what colour you get then simply copy the code of the egg you want and PM me with the colour you have chosen. I will reply, sending you the Adult code

The Clutches

You enter a small, dark cave, feeling oddly warmer. A few paces on you spot what is causing the warmth. A large fiery
Draken is sitting nearby a large nest, gently breathing flames onto some small round objects. As you get closer you realize that they're eggs!
"Welcome," The Draken speaks softly, "Are you here to adopt?" You nod quietly, glancing round at the multicoloured eggs that surround you, "Good. Then choose."

Colours

Green-They are often mistaken by people for dragons which is why the typical dragon is portrayed as being green. The reason they are spotted is because they get closer to people than the other types of Drakens. They shelter in forests and prefer treasure that has a somewhat natural look about it (They are often found raiding the nests of Magpies)

Blue-You guessed it, blue Drakens live near water and are very calm creatures. They plunder sunken treasure and a few have been known to even sink ships in order to get it. Their wings are scalier than most Drakens and there are rumours that only a few can fly. However scientists have not actually found any evidence of a Blue Draken that didn't fly

Purple-Traditionally the colour of royalty, Purple Drakens certainly believe they are better than others. Tending to be snobbish and proud, they love having fancy homes they can boast about. They are especially fond of treasure, even more so than normal Drakens. However, they can be slightly picky and very few may even toss aside a piece of treasure if it is not deemed worthy to them

Hotpink-These Drakens are extremely noisy, loving to live in loud, bright places. They are less interested in treasure than others, and while they do still hoard it they are not particularly bothered by worth. Anything colourful grabs their eye, so they collect gemstones such as rubies, emeralds and sapphires. Some have compared their feathery manes to a parrot's feathers. Come to think of it, they do vaguely resemble a parrot in nature...
